Becki Newton

Becki is an Connecticut native. As a teenager, she started performing in plays at the local theater and during summer productions of the stock theater. She was a student of European History at the University of Pennsylvania at the time, and during this her time there she spent a number of semesters in Europe. Becki relocated immediately to NYC following her graduation to pursue Broadway. After appearing on a variety of commercials across the country and guest-starring parts, such as Cold Case (2003), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), and American Dreams (2002), Becki was offered the part of Amanda on Ugly Betty (2006). The couple is Chris Diamantopoulos and has a brother who is Matt Newton. They're stunning, but not models of the highest caliber. It's great that I don't have to worry about the red carpet at work because I am not an expert. When it comes to my style, I'm open to trying different things. Glamour can be fun!
